    摘要、提要註: While teaching a second grade boy with ADHD, I noticed his on-task and academic performance were not matching up with what I felt he was able to do. After researching what I could do to help my student be more successful, it was determined that utilizing a self-monitoring checklist could help him improve both behaviorally and academically. The purpose of this study was to investigate the behavioral and academic effects of self-monitoring strategies on a second grade language arts student with ADHD. A single-subject multiple baseline study was conducted during the student's spelling class. Both his on-task and academic achievement improved over the course of the study.
