摘要、提要註:
Although Japanese companies have not have been in the spotlight recently, it would be almost impossible to gain an understanding of them and their management practices and organizations without noting the transformations they have undergone in the decade since the new millennium. It is imperative to bridge the gulf between what is known about Japanese companies in their heyday and what is unknown about them struggling to survive and transform in the past decade. In this volume, the author explores the transformations that have taken place in Japanese workplaces in the last twelve years, in terms of management practices, particularly in the areas of human resource management (HRM) and organizational culture.
