摘要、提要註:
Palestinians (Israeli Arabs) a significant minority of Israel's non-Jewish population b7 sare the invisible man in the Palestine conflict. This book presents fresh insights into their political behavior. Using social movement theory and original field research material, it analyzes two case studies in their history: Land Day 1976 and Habbat October 2000. By offering a more inclusive framework of analysis and acknowledging the role of human agency in transcending some of the material barriers to mobilization, the author offers a more comprehensive explanation for 1948 Palestinians' political mobilization and enables a better understanding of contemporary developments in the region.
