This collection tacklesissues such asthe nature of the multinational enterprise, the determinants of the international division of labour and the rationale for joint ventures - creating a well rounded study of the development and changing issue MNEshave encountered over the past three decades. The chapters, structuredchronologically, are arranged so that the reader is able to see the progression and patterns that emerge as these studies have developed and been shaped by new ideas and different working environments. It is meant for readers who are interested in problem-solving, and wish to build on the achievementsof the past to tackle new issues that emerge as theresearch frontier advances.
