摘要、提要註:
In a world riddled with asymmetries and disparity, the economic achievement of India and China shows that it is possible to find a path that, despite all its inherent imperfections, can take developing nations towards development. The two countries are recent reminders of an invaluable lessonof our times: development does not need perfect systems, but it is the outcome of strategic thinking, smart implementation and efficient governance. This book presents an exploration of the economic ascent of India and China, and offers an alternative approach to development that emanates from the empirical evidence from these two countriesin recent decades.
