摘要、提要註:
In today's world, contact with other cultures is an inevitable part of university and collegelife. Learning and Teaching Across Cultures in Higher Education is intended for anyone who has an interest in intercultural aspects of learning and teaching in higher education. Raising awareness of other cultures may be an objective of a course; or readers may have noticed issues in their courses which they suspect may be 'cultural' in some sense. They may be interested in setting up intercultural contacts between students and others; or they may be engaging with issues of the modern global context such as internationalization of curriculum, global flows of students and educators, cultural diversity and more inclusive admission policies. This book contains theoretical rationale, resources and examples to assist both teachers and administrators in understanding and tackling such situations.
