Friends and enemies in organisations: A work psychology perspective is an exploration into the current world of relationships at work. Despite the importance and intrigue of workplace relationships, our understanding of how they impact on individual and organizational wellbeing is not yet fully understood. This book presents the thoughts and research from contributors who are leaders in their fields. Collectively, they present varied and cutting edge ideas regarding the dynamics of relationships in the workplace. This is the firstbook in the field of organizational psychology to provide a comprehensive treatment of workplace relationships from multiple perspectives. This edited bookwill appeal to academics and thinking practitioner as well as to scholars and graduate students in the fields of psychology, organisational behaviour, human resources, and interpersonal relations.
