摘要、提要註:
Corporate Security Responsibility? focuses on the role of private business in zones of conflict. It provides a picture of the types of contribution made to peace and security by transnational corporations. The volume comprises a range of comparative empirical case studies based onextensive field research. From this research, conclusions are drawn about what determines these contributions and the implications of these empirical and theoretical findings for the interplay between the public and the private sector in the context of global governance. The book contributes to closing the gap between research on Global Governance and Peace and Conflict Studies. It applies a systematic research design to the study of corporate governance contributions to peace and security across a number of cases.
