They involve high computational costs, thus the use of novel algorithmic proposals in combination with modern technologies such as multicore processors and Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) to improve the performance of such systems is provided. The aim of this book is to introduce the present and future of soft computer techniques, providing readers the latest technological tools such as multicore processors and GPUs, to implement highly efficient intelligent system methods using a general purpose computer.
