摘要、提要註:	It is safe to argue that in the new phase of globalization and interdependence, particularly for cross-border, faith-based, multicultural, organizations, being culturally savvy has become a strategic capability for leadership success. To attain a high level of leadership success in a multicultural, multiethnic, and multi-national faith-based organization requires more than a mere understanding of other people's cultures. It demands a strategic and structural commitment, allowing oneself to be totally transformed into a trans-cultural permanent experience. This qualitative case study examined in-depth the leadership factors that combined to re-route an 11-man, room-renting, prayer-meeting team into a mega church destination. The study used a multi-source, data-generation strategy to explore how the leader of a faith-based, African-franchised organization has succeeded in spite of near-80% church failure rate in the United States. Although the 20 interviewed participants attributed the success of the church to the leadership qualities of the Pastor and his leadership style, the Pastor/leader said, "It had to be God Himself." Hopefully, the conclusions drawn from this study would expand the knowledge base for cross-cultural and organizational leadership researchers and practitioners. Although the study was not designed for generalizability, other church leaders would likely benefit from learning what the Golden Chapel's Pastor has been doing right.
