    摘要、提要註: "Producing Lesbianism: Television, Niche Marketing, and Sexuality in the 21st Century," examines the cultural, political, and economic dynamics at play in the production of contemporary lesbian TV images. Paying particular attention to the ways in which lesbian consumers and lesbian programming are co-constituted, I examine how television's lesbian images are constructed, represented, and received in various contexts of contemporary culture. This project seeks to put the economic and political in conversation with the cultural, social, and technological, exploring how lesbian TV texts and celebrities circulate in the drastically altered post-network era.
