摘要、提要註:	What are the achievements, limits and failures of the EU's involvement in the Arab-Israeli conflict? Why has the EU been unable to develop an autonomous and effective policy towards the conflict, despite its efforts and the inordinate amount of time and resources it has committed over the years? This book sets out to answer these questions by analysing the development of European policy towards the conflict over the last forty years and focusing in particular on three aspects: the convergence among EU member state policies; the development of the EU's foreignpolicy instruments and the complex dynamics of EU-US relations in the Middle East. European Policy Towards the Arab-Israeli Peace Process will be of interest to readers who wish to acquire a deep understanding ofthe EU's policy towards a conflict that has proved intractable for over 60 years and that destabilizes a region of crucial importance for theEuropean Union.
