摘要、提要註: While racism, race hygiene, and eugenics for a long time were considered solely in the framework of individual countries, this book demonstrates the international dimension of eugenic racial policy and of scientific racism. Concepts such as a 'Racial Confederation of European Peoples' or a 'blonde internationalism' marked the thinking and the actions of many eugenicists. This book provides an historical foundation for current discussions about human genetics, population policy, and scientific racism. It sets in context the development of the international eugenics movement in relation to the National Socialist policies of race and destruction, and shows how intensively eugenicists participated in the international establishment of human genetics and population science. In addition, it reconstructs in detail how the remaining international network of racist eugenicists even today attempts to exert influence on scientific and political discussions.
